You know me... always trying something to achieve another new look :blush: I'll see how it looks & if I don't like it, I'll sell it on ebay. The cans were a STEAL and I can't believe nobody here wanted them. Scorpion mufflers are as good as it gets (IMO) and these add the right look to my bike. I did post them up and offer them to everyone first, so my conscience is clear. I really didn't have the funds for more mods right now, but as the auction ran out, I gave in and grabbed them. They ARE SWEET! Loud but not obnoxious loud... a little raspy as you get on it, with a mean big block sound :)
I'm a broke happy camper, but 2 yrs. later Max still looks good & I did it myself on a tight budget :cheer:

Wed night while heading to sunshine drag strip i passes by QSL ( Bobs hang out ) And i saw at least 10 long black snakes .. First thing that came to mind ? BOB WAS HERE !!!!:laughing:

WOW! Just back from a ride and I really have to get some video during a ride. THESE SCORPIONS REALLY LET THE V4 SOUND OFF! :yes: Dragster sound for the DRAGSTER! :punk:

Looks good B_M.I like the black ceramic or carbon fiber look but more important to me the shape of the can.Those short Scorpions fit the bike well.I don't care for the shape of most of the aftermarket exhaust systems out there.That's why I'm leaning toward the V&H for a complete system & the fact that I don't have to take the swing arm off to install it.

Yeah, I thought they would look good on the bike & took a chance. Here's the pic from the ebay auction. All I had to do was move the Scorpion logos, and make a pair of bushing/adapters to fit my pipe. Pretty simple stuff, and I really like the sound more than the looks. Another good Ebay deal! ;)

Yeah they are a couple of bad mother's with the right sounds. If I had the money this is what I would do...thanks again for the great find....

My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300
I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride...
