Besides the way they look, is there any diference between the oem exhaust and this Prunus exhaust? There's a foto of it on Y's Gear's site, but don't know if they are selling them. Anyone have awnsers?

Yes, they are selling them...if you want them, first go rob a bank, because they aren't cheap...

Yes...but IF you have a Japanese domestic 151HP model...for all other countries (except France which is a 100HP model but does not have restrictive CAT and mufflers like the Japanese models), there is no benefit other than the Black header heat shields, Black Mufflers, the SAME CAT that the non-Japan models have or close to it and a "different" exhaust sound...all at an extremely LOW retail price of 336,000 JPN Yen (you do the calcs at 80 JPN yen to the US$)...

IMHO...go to your local pro-paint shop and have them powder coat/paint what you have now...or go buy one of the several aftermarket systems available elsewhere...

That's the CHEAPER one in Japan...and that is why, it is supposedly selling like hot cakes according to my "favorite" contact...and in Japan, it comes under the "Chicken" mentality...if Yamaha sells it, it has to be good and it won't fail...any other aftermarket lobotomy type of mods are not done by most there...of course there are always the exceptions like many that I know there...

But just remember that on the Japanese models, if you don't change the CAT...you still have a restrictive exhaust system and basically no matter what magic voodoo you do on the DIAG area of the Instrument Panel...you still have a 100HP model...well, + a few ponies for the $4,000+ slip-ons that you just bought...and I am sure that those folks are telling all of their BFF, that their "shoot-outs" are MUCH better because of it...yeah right!!!...
