Rick,
Looking forward to your gen 1 spring retainer, sent you a paypal in advance for it. No hurry though.

Because I've been testing and tuning with my new nitrous setup on the warrior, I began to blow through the clutch off the line with my Barnett plate with the stiffest red springs. As you may remember I bought one of your gen 2 retainers thinking the spring sizes were the same. In the mean time I have tested the double d set up by splitting the gen 2 retainer so it would grow to fit the larger warrior spring. I also replaced both the smaller fiber plates with the full size (8 total). Also instead of two stock springs I stacked 1 stock and 1 speed* spring, mainly because I already had them.

The results were outstanding, I dropped over a tenth on my 60ft time and the clutch now really bites off the line. The lever pull is stiff but not unmanagable, the plates seperate fine with no drag. so far it has saved me from spending 800 bucks on a lockup clutch.

I think he is talking about a Yamaha "SpeedStar" part. They make competition parts for the Warrior and some of the other bikes.
Of course nothing for the VMax for some reason! :arghhh:

Yes as itgoes said, they offer several performance parts for the warrior, they call them speed star. They offer a stiffer diaphram spring, which incidently is the same size for the gen 1's. FYI
