Let me ask you a question.....do you know if anyone had any success with the Barnett coil spring conversion kit for the MT-01? Because it should be a direct bolt on to the Gen 2, and it can be purchased with high tension performance springs.

It is interesting for sure. What's confusing is that someone just posted here recently they had inquired to Barnett about a conversion for the Gen 2. They said that they did not have one, but were planning to come out with a heavy duty diaphragm spring. Huh.

I used the Barnett coil conversion in one of my Gen 1's with OEM friction plates. It worked great, much better feel IMO.

And yeah.....it's probably all black for std. pressure, alternating black, red for increased pressure, and all red for max.

It's obvious why they did it.. I broke a driveshaft already with the double disc mod.. They knew full well that a weak clutch would save on warranty claims. They purposely used the same clutch so as to be the weak link in the drivetrain. Less brakeage & liability for them

You really can't blame them.. Maniacs were allowed to buy a 200hp cruiser.. They had to cover their ass somehow
