TOPIC: Galfer Front Brake Line Install
Galfer Front Brake Line Install 2 years 2 weeks ago #1
|
Just installed the Galfer front brake lines on my max. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, I would rate the install a 6 - mainly because of the amount of disassembly required to remove the stock lines without scratching anything or ruining the paint with drops of brake fluid.
Here are a few pics of the finished product. Glad I did it...well worth the $89.00 for the kit, and Galfer has excellent customer service/tech help if needed. |

Thanks for sharing this is a mod that I need to do as my bike is coming into it's third year and if you go by the manual you need to replace the fluid and brake lines every couple of years or something to that affect.

That was fun huh, wait until you do the back, if you don't have it, get a line wrench those two between/behind the motor and frame were tough!
BTW, looks great! |
