In my search for getting myself down the drag strip faster and faster...I am on my second exhaust system and it performs great.
Lee's cycles helped me out and it was well worth it. My list of upgrades: Race ECU Collector pipe...from Lee's along with their tips... Power Commander V Modified air box front with High flow K&N Here are my dyno results compared to stock. Last time at the drag strip I had a difficult time keeping the front tire on the ground off the line. Trying to get the right combination of traction and slight tire rotation. I am not done yet....Still going to go for the big air kit and quick shift that plug right into my Power Commander 5. I will keep you updated on my quest to go just a little faster in MPH and ET. My goal is to have 200 rear wheel HP and a few more Ft. Lbs for torque. Lee's Cycle San Diego.ashx |

O.K. Thanks.... I did that. Here they are. My Max HP 188 and torque 125
My goal is to do the 1/4 mile in under 10 sec and about 140 mph. I ran 4 times in Fontana CA best was 10.58 at 131 mph. I am 210 lbs and it was my first time doing the 1/4 mile. I have ran the 1/8 mile a lot since San Diego has the monthly races at quallcomm and Barona 6.749 in the 1/8 is about my best yet to date. Need to get the quick shifter and set up the kill times. Is anyone running the PC 5 with the quick shifter? If so, what kill times are you/they running? |

You should get your ECU reflashed to get rid of the bog at launch. Then you'll have a chance at 9's

Welcome, good to have you. Be sure to introduce yourself in the new member section. I have the Vance & Hines exhaust and it seems to produce the same ponies yours does. I say this because I dyno @ 183rwhp but I have a 240 rear wheel which causes me to lose 5-6 hp. Therefore I would have 188-189rwhp if I still had the oem rear. I weight 230lbs and have run down the track 7 times now. My best e/t was 9.96 @ 137mph. My 60' time was 1.646 and this wasn't all she had, I still screwed that run up a bit because I can do a better 60' than that. I have a NashFlash, airbox mod, PCV (disconnected except the quickshifter)and as said V&H and quickshifter. Like Bob (B_M) said, you have to get rid of that bog via flash and the shifter helps a lot.
I'm sending you a PM Forgot, my shifter is set at 65mil. Any lower and it seems to bang the tranny a bit. Darryl. |

Roni, is that the CAT still under your bike or a mid pipe? If it's the cat, you're leaving some ponies on the table.

Cat was gone better then a year ago. I did have the Cats ass with UFO tuner on, but I really hit a wall as far as speed and time. Ran 1/8 mile 100+ trips down the strip.
What you see under there is the mid pipe. I like how tight and close in it is and that it does not stick out very far. Sets off every car alarm it passes and that is just dogging it at like 2K to be nice to the neighbors. I had it dyno'ed with the UFO system and three days later with new exhaust, It was 182 HP and 116 Ft Lbs of torque. Gained to 188 and 125 Ft Lbs of torque. I also have been told that a NashFlash stops the bog at launch, so that is on my list. Do you know of anyone who needs a race ECU and a Cats Ass exhaust system from UFO? It was great system, but I just needed a little more and to keep the look of the daily driver.... |

You can list them here in the for sale section, or on ebay for best results. They won't last long and should bring good $$
