TOPIC: Dynojet quickshifter instal lquestion/instructions
Dynojet quickshifter instal lquestion/instructions 2 years 1 day ago #1

Ok, I just purchased a quickshifter from a member and did not get the install instructions.
My only big question, is for where to have the slider shaft? Is there a measurement you all have that is universal to the V Max? I was told to set the software for 65 milsecs do you all agree with that? I am going to Barona track tomorrow and want to have it all set up and see what I can do there with it installed. Thanks for any assistance. "Go fast, or go home!" Ron |

Tip set the linkage high cause all you have to do is bump it and you are shifting I used to keep my toe on the shifter and had to run mine up I set mine at 6 K to shift I have the Evolouzone one but same thing really
Take some video/ pics at the strip and post up your times Good luck BTW are you flashed? |

Here is a picture that I got right from the Dynojet website.
Squeeze's recommendation is correct, a little longer kill time will work better. I'm running at 75µs. Capt. Bob is also right that you should adjust the shifter up a little. If you have pressure on the lever the switch will be made and it will not work correctly. |

I have mine set to 65mil and it works perfect, easy on the tranny and quick on the track. Inop until 6k.
I guess it's a personal preference thing. |
