Some of you may already know this but Barnett sells Clutch Kits for the Max.
I didn't see them on the Barnett web site but went to Niche Cycle supply and paid 194.60 for the set of fibres and steels. They cell Kevlar (which I got) and carbon fibre. They said the Carbon ones are strictly for the strip and are very grabby. They are $10 less. I like to street ride also.

Darryl,

You mean to tells us that you've already gone through a clutch ?

Could the drag strip have anything to do with it ?

No, I worn it out yet. I just have the new set on the shelf for when I do. I've never had any slippage at all. If I decide to go for 210-250 hp I will definitely have to change it out. Depends, might have to get MTC to build a billet basket. You start upping the ponies, the engine starts to look for the weakest link.

Can't believe they haven't made a spring conversion pressure plate yet to go along with the plates!

I guess it's another supply and demand situation again. But, the rareness of the beast is one of the reasons we love it.
