That is up to you which exhaust you like. Dale Walkers Holeshot system is made well, fits the bike well, and has great performance & sound. Since you're in Europe, the Xpipe clone may be the easiest for you to obtain. and is by far the stealthiest of all systems. 1 small xpipe that tucks up under the bike and allows you to reuse the stock mufflers with a tad healthier sound. That may be just what you're looking for. Found here www.optimalcarbone.com/xpipe_vmax_1700.html As far as mufflers with a good deep tone, a lot of people like the Scorpions, also made in Europe. Good luck with your decision. Making it your own & finding just the right sound is part of the Vmax fun!
You could just add a set of Scorpions to the V&H pipe too |

Have a friend of mine here did something to his VMAX and sounds nice on the stock Cans
but when we tried it on the V&H it was way too loud He got the xpipe and drilled it all over making it look like a baffle Got the original CAT and opened it and completely emptied it Installed the Xpipe inside the cat and put some fiber inside It acted like a car muffler Throaty , but on the V&H is a total loudness those scropions look very nice but what i am after is somehow silent on idle ( Some bass ) and Nasty deep sound on high RPM The problem with the V&H are too loud on idle and doesnt make me hear the tires screaming on acceleration |

StallionM5, I have Dale Walkers Holeshot 4-2 Exhaust with the 10" Bad Boy Mufflers installed on my Vmax. I wouldn't recommend them for you...they are really nasty sounding!! But what would recommend is the Holeshot System with the 17" Mufflers and you could also order and install the DB Killers (they drop the exhaust sound another 3-5 decibels). I think this set up will give you the greatest flexibility in controlling the sound you want over any other system on the market today. I'm hear to tell you first hand, the quality, fit & finish along with the performance are absolutely awesome! Dale is great to deal with, he always takes time to talk to his customers one on one and will answer any questions you have in great detail. Good luck with your decision! Jetman.

I'd look at the Brocks Performance exhaust if your wanting the most power , and it sounds killer also, but nut to loud with the Gen4 muffler , plus you get very good map support...If I was stuck on wanting a daul muffler exhaust I'd go with Dale Walkers.

Are there any Dyno runs of this exhaust in SAE? I haven't seen any comparisons or any info that will confirm this. If it is... well, let's just say, I'm in the market for more power.... Any input is apreciated. |

Heres a chart with the Brock's Performance pipe in STD. I think in SAE its about 5HP less.
This system made 200RWHP and over 125Ft.Lb Torque (STD Scale) with a 240 tire , so it would be around 195HP in SAE and thats on pump gas and 40wt oil and everyday street tune. Power Slave wrote: TB21 wrote:
