I was pissed about my helmet getting stolen. Went out and made Rich's sign we traded for some parts - and then installed the tidy tail and covers. Thanks VERY MUCH to Art for his help and advice on installing a tidy tail. His notes made it very simple to do it.

Anyone have a couple of those push tabs I broke one.

Still have to sand and clear coat the sign, rout an edge and cut some keyholes in the back but it will be done very soon. It turned out awesome I think.

Nice Mike ! Like the tilted 3D looking tuning fork , Rich is a great guy to deal with keep him in your thoughts he and his family are having a tough time with flooding and possible levee breaches let alone the Army corp of Engineers flooding his corn crops .
Sucks about your helmet some guys open the gas hatch and thread the strap around that and close it on the buckle you would have to know where the latch is to get to the helmet. To bad your Machine does not do Aluminum I am a metals guy ya know.
Oh and how did the tunnel bag work out for you on your trip.

I LOVE THE BAG. I did not go for fear of a weekend of rain but it hauls my laptop most days and on others it has held my fishing gear and swiming gear.

My helmet sucks but NO WAY NEAR to what is going on elsewhere in the world. I will order a new one and get on with it. I am keeping tabs with the police department. 3rd shift online report guy is ON IT! I thought it was a joke but this guy is attentive!!

I have only done light alum with my machine as I am a wood guy. I plan to play with that a bit.

Wish I were closer, would ride over with a coiuple of options for you......I've got two extra (used but new) SHARK Evolution (modular) helmets....
new, the run ~$400....obviously they'd go for much less


1.) bought last August_ X-Large_BLACK...too large, a few wear minor marks
2.) bought this spring_ Large_SILVER/Gray...fits good, looks new, looks good with any color bike

3.) bought a few weeks ago_ Large_RED...matches the VMAX....a keeper, this one is the reason I don't need the others

I'd consider a trade or some cash....depending upon which one being discussed.

Real nice being able to flip the face up and back...ride with air...talk at lights....built in sun shield....etc.

Darel I have a big noggin - HJC IS-16 was XXL. Plus I think I want a red one of some kind. May just order another HJC MC1 in spectre red again. Thankyou though. Now I am checking out Shark helmets!!
