TOPIC: What to Dip?

Re: What to Dip? 2 years 2 days ago #11

Well, if you have the stock cans on that, the tips I have will fit right on. He sells them individual, or as a set. He is BNR here, or Lee's Cycles in San Diego. Great place and good people. I joined them at the drag strip, pitted with them and he was making suspension adjustments for me after every run.

How much was it for your midpipe? Have you had it on the dyno, what hp and torque are you at with it?

I think the mid pipe was $649 or so. I have not tried it on the dyno yet.
I am hoping to this Saturday right up the street at a Harley store that is having a Dyno shoot out but I read the fine print and it said air cooled v-twins only.

I just emailed them about an hour ago to ask if I could pay to have mine dynoed but not be a part of the contest so as not to be unfair should my bike make more than the v-twins.

I had it dynoed stock about a year ago and got 179 rwhp.

I have since done the Nash Flash, did the airbox mod with K & N filter (not big air), ais mod, mid pipe, and did the double spring clutch mod tonight.

I think my mid pipe was 599, Do you know if your numbers on the dyno were sae, or std? If you have a printout look in the upper right hand corner, or some where on it.

179 stock seems to be STD rather then the lower sae number.

Just last week I put down 195 hp and 124 on torque sae, or 199.4hp and 128ish on torque std

You could be putting down 188 hp and 120ish torque sae, or 194 hp and 127 torque std I had the PC v and your set up just a month ago, less the nash flash
