I really like the look of it 1 - Where did you buy it 2 - How much was it 3 - How hard to install 4 - How Bright 1 - I bought it at www.theretrofitsource.com. 2 - It was $183 shipped to florida. 3 - It's not hard at all, I made it harder when I blacked out everything inside the headlight. 4 - The bulb is a 6000k, it's waaaaay much better than the stock one. |

Wow! Looks really cool, definitely an awesome looking mod! How long did it take for you to do. Also, what was the difficulty factor? Thanks! It took me like 3 weeks, yeah, I know, that is way too long, but the first shroud I ordered (GATLING GUN) didn't fit inside the headlight, I returned that one and I ordered 2 different ones, GTI-R and APOLLO, the GTI-R wasn't deep enough and you could see the top of the projector and the APOLLO was too big, so, I ordered the same Johnnie and Capt. Bob bought, after all that, I started to black everything out inside the headlight and there's this little chrome part right next to the front shield, inside the headlight, I used masking tape to cover it, I painted it and when I removed the tape I saw that I had some over spray on the shield, I tried to remove it but I ended up scratching it all over it, I took the shield to a body shop where somebody told me they could fix it, they were gonna polish it and put some clear coat on it, the thing is that after that it looked like sh#t, I had to buy a new headlight ($330), just to get the front shield. That is why it took me 3 weeks, but at the end it turned up pretty good and I love how it looks, it was worth it. |

I will give a little greatest hits , First once you take the headlight off every thing out I set mine in a pyrex dish with a wet towel
on the bottom shield side down baked at 275 for 7 minutes in a pre heated oven then get your gloves and a couple of thin bladed putty knifes set it on a big towel folded and start prying the headlight shell apart it has a mastic sealing it together that is the hardest part the ballast goes under the air box area zip wrap it where you like it the harness is plug and play but for two lights so when you are done test it with the included test wire then clip the un used side there is a few tricks in mounting the intensifier bezel and bulb will not give all the detail now but you get the just of it you can count on an afternoon for sure making sure you have all the parts is paramount Matt at TRS will see to that , The washer that holds the bulb straight needs to be trimmed and epoxy drops in 3 spots , nice thing this kit has a high beam most HID intensifier are single stage . Very very functional mod twice the light of stock and lots of COOL factor. Common sense and having some patience cause you need to take your time with this. Capt |

Yes I'm back, but like you only for a short time, I am about to PCS up to Seymour Johnson and my report date in July 31. I will be packing up and moing the household in about two weeks. I will still be pretty local though, only about 45-50 Min from Bragg. |
