Well I finally did it. After keeping my stock cans for nearly 3 years due to not particularly liking anything else or waiting for those DAM cans to be released I finally pulled the plug on a set of exhausts. Scorpion is the name and I was game

Bit or a risky move as you never know how these non bolt on products will work especially as these were for an FZ6.
But I always liked the short cans on a VMAX. I think they really suit bike lines. Seen this on a few bikes like Dinan's shortened V&H, Bad_Max, Capt Bob, etc ...

I also went from my X-pipe to an Akro mid-pipe. No reason except that I love my brother and now he has the mighty and only original X-pipe. I also got rid of the Big Air and went back to the stock air box. So this project of mine is going to keep me busy this winter getting all the mods to sing a perfect symphony as I had it, in the past. Good thing I have plenty of time up my sleeve.

Looks Great Kris ! How do they sound ? Looks like a nice reducing silencer is incorporated that ought to make them very tolerable ,Kris great combination Akra -Scorpion-Cobra .

Thanks for posting the pics but you know someone is gonna say "sound clip" so dust off the Camcorder that should offer the best sound Quality.

Sound clips are nice, but never really capture the sound well enough.
Besides, since you have a set of Scorps I am sure you know the sound quite well by now

Yes these mufflers seem to be E4 certified for Europe. They aren't as loud as I thought they were going to be
But thisvworksvwell for me here in OZ. They are loud enough when they need to be at WOT
