OK, bear with me guys, no photoshop expert here, windows paint is all I know how to use. Not much aftermarket stuff, but I did order the back rest, the saddle pods, & windshield. I will add the red stripes around the wheels for more accent, lose the turn signals (or go flush mount), and add my own engine accents. What they wanted for the billet cam covers was ridiculous so I will make my own, and there's a guy that sells Chrome V-4 emblem carb covers for the old Vmax. i will probably get a set and cut them to cover & fit over the X brace from frame to top of motor. Anyways this is kind what it will look like..:unsure: Oh yeah, rear fender eliminator myself and gonna try & lose the star emblems on the scoops

My wish list is simple, better exhaust.. ;)

I want unobtrusive turn signals.
Pipes I think, I have not heard stock yet.
An unresticted ECU.

I have heard talk, I believe here on this site that there is a power commander in the works or possibly already out there for about $800, does anyone know anything about that?

Also, on the modified VMAX page of this site, there are photos of small triangular billet accessories that appear to be master cylinder covers for either the brakes or the hydraulic clutch, they look sharp and I haven't seen them anywhere else. Wondering if that is in fact what they are and where to acquire them. These are my modifications, in phases;

Right out of the box - going to order this stuff this weekend

- Billet Cam Covers
- Billet Swing Arm Pivot Covers
- Backrest (Kind of undecided for it changes the profile)
- Cargo Rack (if I do the back rest, may purchase both before
deciding)
- Boulevard short windscreen
- The new styled seat (If I don't go with the backrest/rack
setup)

After I get the bike and finances stabilize;

- Power commander
- Integrated tailamp setup
- possibly new mirrors/signals

I gave the guy at the dealership the list of stuff I wanted, he gave me 20% off of the price which worked out to be about $300 bucks off for me. He said that in the computer, none of the stuff appeared ready to ship but the numbers were there to refer to. He put the stuff on backorder or "pre-order" so when it became available, I was in line to get them. As far as I know, as of Wednesday, none of that stuff was showing available. BAD_MAX, what did your guy say when you ordered? I would be curious because I can't get a ship date for the bike out of my guy either. My dealer is very reputable and I have been dealing with the same person for about 12 years, so I would like to believe what he says, however I would like to double check things when possible.

Yes, he's correct. Similar to the bike itself,accessories have to be pre-ordered. The accessories have a due date later in October. My stuff will be there when the bike comes, and it won't leave without them. I also asked that if the exhaust was not installed, that I would want to take it to get black chromed. He seemed to think that the exhaust is already mounted when the bike arrives in its crate. Anyway, accessories had to be put in their pc as I ordered. Yamaha just showed a part # & approx. delivery :S Guess I was first to order accessories.

I would sure like to see pictures of your exhaust after you get them black chromed. I thought about it, but I remembered some of the earlier Maxes with black pipes and how they looked after a few rock chips and road dings. I just wouldn't want anything shiny coming out from underneath.
