TOPIC: Diavel mud flap/splash guard on the Max

Re: Diavel mud flap/splash guard on the Max 1 year 2 months ago #91

Well Ted I just picked a license plate mount for $45 over at the diavel forum! It wasn't free but for that price I think I got it pretty cheap!

hey thats cool I would go with one.cleans up the tail, keeps the water off your backside and everyone behind you doesn't get showered with debris off the tire .

Yep spikes I bet they will be on till his wife or son opens up a wound walking behind it lol :needles:

Ted where those 2 crowned bolts are going thru the bracket put a rubber washer on each side and a flatwas er on top of the rubber
If you use a lock nut you won't have to crank em down to tight will really dampen the vibration on that mounting point as well
Extremities on bike are like really subject to buzz like handlebars , foot pegs mirrors ect .
Looks good though Ted very functional for a commuter like yourself.
