Been talked about before. I run them in my Goldwing and my Vmax. Benefits are: They keep the tire in balance as it wears. No weights to mess up your rims. Do it yourself. |

Just remember this from their site:
We strongly advise against using Dyna Beads in any vehicle used for racing, for any application involving cornering at high speeds, or in tires placed under high acceleration beyond normal highway use. (drag racing, etc)" |

Hmm! Wonder why? Liability disclaimer! I called them last summer because I wanted to use them in the bike at the track and they freeked out on me , They told me that the beads would not spin up fast enough to ballance the wheel under hard acceleration and it could cause me to crash |

I have them in my tires right now. They're ok as long as you don't go above 120mph. My front starts to bump pretty good above 1120mph, can't feel it in the rear tire. Save your $$ get them properly balanced!!

I have them in my 85. Feels fine going a straight line down the hwy at up to 135mph. I can feel their ill-effects during serious curvitures though. It feels as if by tossing the bike into a corner, the beads come outta balance for a couple seconds, then rebalance about the same time you have to straighten out or lean the other way. Then they're outta balance all over again. Having the rear tire wobbling coming out of a corner is NOT a good feeling.
I'll take mine out with the next tire change out, or before the Spring VMOA rides, whichever occurs first. I'll leave them in my other 'rides' since I never get carried away cornering on those bikes. |

Maxout they are great for your Honda cruiser and my HD Bagger. But not in the Max due to what everyone said, "no time to spin put to balance."
But they are great in the Harley! |

Guess I need to read the fine print! I do have them in my rear tire on the Vmax now and haven't noticed any ill effects yet. I'll keep an eye on the situatin though.

Too funny... You said exactly what I thought.
I have the Dyna Beads and they do not settle properly on quick acceleration, the rest of the time they're perfect. I'll be saving them for my Bagger from now on. AJ. |
