TOPIC: LED signals in rad, integrated rear light?
LED signals in rad, integrated rear light? 1 year 4 months ago #1
|
Has anyone installed the LED signals/running lights that are mounted inside the rad side covers? I remember seeing them online somewhere, but I must have not saved the site. They are very slick looking, and you can order the integrated rear tail light and plate bracket from the same site. If anyone thinks they know the site im talking about, can you please post it for me?
Thanks. |

I couldn't find an apples to apples comparison, but this should give you an idea.
a 18 LED light gives off 26 lumens and uses .9 watts compared to a 40watt filament or a 9-12 watt CFL. So, you could light more thatn 40 LED bulbs or 4 CFL bulbs for the same energy it takes to light a single incandescent bulb. LED Tubes led bulbs lights Dimmable LED Lights |

I've done exactly what you are asking about Wallace, front signals on the radiator and an integrated taillight. I got tired of all the stuff hanging off the bike and wanted to "clean" it up a bit. I also put small bar end mirrors on. So far I'm very happy with everything. If you have any questions let me know. -Mark- Edit....just noticed Wallaces post is over 3 months old. |
