Installation is very straight forward if you have just a bit of electrical experience. It does come with instructions that are useful, albeit not specific to the VMax.
Below are a few pics I took showing the major steps I took during the install.

P.S. the last picture is just the location I mounted the switch for the scoop LED's and Powerlet Glove Liner hookup...


Thanks for this post. I could use a few more outlets for the new electrical devices such as USB charger, auxiliary lights (front), pcv (side), alarm (under back seat), etc which are currently connected to various electrical power lines.
How accessible is this box from various location of the bike, where it's currently installed?
