They look cheap without the plastic ring over the lights. The ones I posted do come with twice the amount of SMD's. You can see how many SMD's per ring in the photo below. You get what you pay for for sure |

Thanks for the clarification Kris. I knew that there had to be a reason why they were so much cheaper.

Look inside the scoop and you will see that the 'mesh' has three tabs which penetrate through three holes and is bent back to hold it in place. ( when you take scoop off you will see what I mean) 3. You need to carefully straighten the mesh tabs so you can push the mesh out and remove it. 4. Then you run the two wires behind the mesh and put the mesh back in place and bend the tabs back to hold it in place again (be gentle o not to break the tabs) 5. Then use the tape to secure the rings to the mesh. As an alternative you can drill a small hole in the mesh itself if you wish and run the wire through. Then cover the hole with the ring itself. Many different applications really, so do what works for you guys |

That looks absolutely amazing Capt!!! But I am biased and like that look
They are very bright event against your flood lights. I guess you didn't get the bottom rings? Piece of cake to install isn't it? Glad it all worked out for you. I am talking to Matt now about my retrofitting. Which should look good with the rings I hope |

I gave you a good headlight shot Kris so it would tug at you a bit, riding will all that light is great i was out in the woods last night with the hi beam on and the halogens and the eyes it was really lighting up the turns the Intensifier is 3 times wider beam that the stock headlight light anyway and when you lean into turns it does the airplane wing thing with the cutoff line
in low beam mode, you will find the reflective road signs become very active cause the beam is so wide mine becomes a cobalt blue with the chromics and the eyes really light the front of the bike up very nice effect. Funny riding the Causeways to Tampa drivers in the fast lane just move over i am sure they really dont know whats coming up behind them so quickly got a few thumbs up when passing and a few WTF's too. |
