TOPIC: Project Angel Eyes

Re: Project Angel Eyes 1 year 4 days ago #51

Good work!

I wouldn't worry about the double sided tape if I were you. Its 3M and that stuff is what holds my GoPro through vibrations/bumps, etc .... and its never come off. And GoPro is heavy! The rings are as light as a feather and lets not forget that the wind pressure only helps the contact patch hold it on better. You you can rest easy my friend

I run my lights off my fuseblocks install on a switched source and it has a small 1amp fuse on it. So all is good.

I put them in yesterday, And they looking AWESOME! I haven't heard one bad comment. Went to a car and bike show every saturday and all the bike and car guys love them. One guy came running up when i pulled up and was like I knew right when you pulled in with the leds in the scoops that it was a VMAX!! At night they are VERY BRIGHT! I catch myself looking at them then i see the circles still even when i look away. At night they ARE AMAZING! Now just have to get rid of they GAY ASS turn signals in the front. they take away from the great look. Great write up BUD!!!

Thanks for Sharing!

Stories like that is why I shared this idea and the "how to".
Sure I could have kept it to myself, but that's not what this community is all about. Plus if it makes somebody elses day a little better I am all for that.

Keep the stories coming guys. Its all good fun

Lets see some pics of the finished product (I don't mind you borrowing my photos, can never be tired of seeing a VMAX  )
