TOPIC: Magical Racing Install on ol' Red
Magical Racing Install on ol' Red 1 year 6 days ago #1

Finally got my Magical Racing belly pan in and did the install today.
Really looks nice I think, makes the bike look lots lower without lowering it and munking up the handleing. I still need to add some fiberglass to the back like Big D did, but heading to Myrtle Beach bike week Sunday for a week so that will have to wait... |

Looks good Brett! I see by the bags & backrest that you're already getting ready for the trip

Thanks guys,
I forgot to mention, I painted the fairing with the texture spray bombs and Satin clear like I used on the tach and mirrors, it really matches the texture and finish of the frame very well, looks stock. That is always what I am after, something that looks like Momma Yamaha would do herself. |

Problem I will have, when I copy your look, is that up here in Hillbillie land Nabraska, a-lot of fine sand blowing evrywhere. Would be afraid of the pan getting scratched real bad. Would maybe LINE-X truck bed coating work? In RED also??

Yeah, a bed liner would work nice for that for sure.
I applied many many coats of paint and clear on the front air dam for that reason as well. |
