CO2 Air shifter 10 months 3 weeks ago #1

It's not installed yet, so I don't know if it belongs in this area. I was sharing with a couple three, on what I'm working on. So I thought I'd share with the rest. Here is the air supply portion of my air shifter system is now done All I have to do is fab the mounting for my Gen 1. Here is the latest pics and the price list. I've already had some of the things, left over , from when I sold my paintball shop. So it's into me for well under budget. I hunted around and if I didn't have some of the parts here is a list of what it would cost. So far I'm sitting pretty, well below my goal of building a CO2 air shifter for under $150. All I have left to do is choose an air cylinder, fab the brackets, mount it and plumb the air lines.
*Air storage 90oz or 4oz CO2 tank - (eBay) $15 JackHammer II regulator – (eBay) $20 Expansion Chamber – (eBay) $8 ASA adapter – (eBay) $8 ASA on/off adapter – (eBay) $10 0-160pst mini gauge – (eBay) $10 Misc fittings (hardware store) $14 Total - $85 shipping incl. Shops are offering just the bottle w/o the regulator for $95+, so you can see the potential for some big savings. |
