Not sure if this has been posted, but I noticed today when rewriting my wishlist of accessories, Yamaha has upped the retail prices quite significantly from last week??

Those of you who have already placed your accessory orders, I assume you managed to get them at the older/cheaper prices?

That's interesting, I put a windshield on the original order but it wasn't priced at that time. Do you have the original prices compared to the new ones?

That's for you all Down Under and I don't know about Europe. But the MSRP on accessories stayed the same in the U.S. but Yamaha went up on the dealer cost in the U.S. and my dealer was going to cut me some slack, so the rise in dealer cost still hit me in the pocket book. Late on bike deliverly late on accessories now up on the cost BAD business.

I just checked the Star website and it is very obvious that the prices have been significantly increased. I was planning on getting the backrest and possibly the saddle bags knowing I could get them all for just under $1000. Now these prices are way out of line. I think the backrest has went up $100 alone!

We need to act as a group and file complaints to Yamaha - this is no way to keep loyal customers!

Prices look the same to me?? At least on the VMax line on their website.

I checked the Canadian site after reading this....our prices went up significantly as well.

BTW..

The billet muffler end caps, reservoir caps, carbon fibre grab bars, engine oil cap and Vmax cover are all now available with pricing..
