TOPIC: Auxiliary Fuel Cell

Auxiliary Fuel Cell 3 years, 2 months ago #1

Not satisfied with a four gallon fuel tank? Try an auxiliary fuel cell. Here are a few dealers.

www.jazproducts.com
www.jegs.com
www.sampson-sporttouring.com (This company makes fuel cells specifically for motorcycles, -or you can fabricate your own.)

Yeah, it may take some time to fabricate, but once done there will be more time to spend on the road, -instead of at gas stations.

List more if you know of any:

they should make a fuel cell that look like saddle bags
Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Holy crap...What a Ride!!

Yeah something like that.or find a tank that will fit in side bags.Or.....bring a buddy with a bagger and store fuel on his bike.

Hehe, as much gas as this bike uses it might be best to have a fuel sidecar.

great idea, but i think i would rather stop for gas than be caught with one of those on my bike.

I do remember us outfitting an electraglide with something similar, but it was concealed in one saddlebag, pretty trick and totally hidden.

You gotta be kidding me? That looks like shit. I would rather stop at every gas station then ride around with that thing on my bike.

Believe it or not i saw a gen 1 max in for service with a side car
as i looked closer there was a straight bar connected to the shifter and a mastercylinder at the end. The brakes were linked on the other side. The side car had a gas cap and you could see the diverter valve. Its owner was missing his left leg.
Once you ride a max you will ride nothing else
