Put your names into the hat if you are interested. Might make a couple if there is enough interest.

Street lights timed for 35 mph are also timed for 70 mph.

I'm the guy that'll be sneaking out of my bedroom at three o'clock in the morning to look at my bike.

Should have been more specific:

This will be for the all new VMax. There are plenty of fat kits out there for the legacy VMax.

This kit might be based off a widened stock rear rim. More details and specs to follow...

I'm interested.

Do you make wheels to accommodate the fat tire?
or is this a modification kit for the oem wheel?

This would be a modified OEM rim to match the front.

A bit of putting the cart before the horse but I guess it would be a awesome addition. wouldnt you have to have your hands on an actual production model to fabricate the setup? Yes Id be interested. In fact, if this goes down like Hope it will maybe you can use mine to build your jigs and whatever from. Id be more than willing to make my maiden voyage up to your place.

Not really. These things take plenty of preparation. I have wheels ready for fitting as soon as the bike hits my shop. I have been using Metzlers for the big wheel conversions in the past but really want to try the more sporty Dunlops this time. They also fit on a slightly narrower rim, which might help with fitment for the shaft drive swingarm.

You know I would be looking for the 240. I think it is a great balance of looks and performance on a cruiser.

Well, it is with great pleasure that I can unveil another little secret about the new VMax.

The swingarm has been designed by Yamaha to accept wider wheels up to 240, potentially 260s without swingarm modification. There is plenty of space between the swingarm and the wheel to put on a really fat rear tire.
