Fu%$"*ng rules we have in some countries....You can make it smaller, but if the police stop you because of that, they consider the bike as being without plates! and you are heavily fined even maybe some points deducted from your driving licence It is by far the item that makes the bike look ugliest from them all. I don't recall the Portuguese plates as being any different, maybe APValle can explain. The Finnish one is at least narrower.

And I will always be jealous about the US plate; not only small, but you can even personalise it.

Thanks for the extra info you gave me Tiairi; will have to find some supplier because as I said even though I'm a part time welding inspector at work, I don't know how to weld

I for one, I'd like to have a Swiss Plate, they're Way smaller than any US-Plate i've seen in my Life. About the Size of the old french Plates, if somebody remembers them, but white, not yellow like the french Plates.
