If the truth be told there's a lot more screwed up! Don't tell.

The way this came about was that I first bought the Yamaha touring shield and installed it. Then I replaced the plex with another plex from this company. So, you end up with the discarded original plex from Yamaha and using the original brackets with the new plex. The new plex costs about $160; the old one is suitable for your go-cart.

I specifically wanted a high plex for touring. I'm looking through the plex, not over it. If you want it shorter, all you have to do is tell Lief how much shorter. He'll take care of the cut and shaping.

The Yamaha touring shield is made by National Cycle; their logo is on the plex. Maybe that's another way to go, but I'm completely happy with what I have. I feel confident to spend three weeks traveling out west with this windshied. It's been to 130mph with no problems. Still protecting and still quiet at that speed and with no handling problems.
