Starting off I miss Bob being with me but I was working south and took the bike to the job 10 degrees warmer than last week and much more humidity 10.040 139.38 10.045. 134.38 9.919. 138.29. 1.639 60 ft 9.917. 136.03 1.662 60 ft Several spin out runs tried looser strap runs one wheelie run had to get out of it Then someone blew an engine and oiled the track and that shut it down for a good while Big D and Brett were running real low 10's when I left Brett did not have his quick shifter tonight because of his faulty PCV D or myself had no problems with ours Kyle got their late and had to wait the cleanup before he could run not sure of his Gen 1 times Once the street car tires run the track gets bad so I bagged it. I am on the pad so will post slips when I get home Happy to whittle my times down even more the Big air Bock V2 Fash combo pulls real hard Brett said I pulled him 3 lengths between the 1/8 th and 1/4 if I can improve my short game I see 9.80's |

Good job Bob, way to back up last trip! Weather was not nearly as good to run fast today as you had last time out. (You know me....I check this kinda stuff
I dream of the kind of 60 footers you guys are getting in the low 1.6's. Good work! |

Bob is right his bike is pulling really hard. When I got there I watched him bog off the line and bump off the limiter and still ran a 10.1. Crazy stuff.
My runs where as listed: 10.110 / 1.661 60'er 10.103 /1.609 60'er don't know how that 60'er happened! 10.084 / 1.648 60'er 10.069 / 1.648 60'er @ 136.90mph All runs approximately 132-136mph The track got oiled down at the wrong time. When we get there early we can pretty much run back to back for almost an hour before all the cars get there and line up. When the track got oiled the cars began to stack up and slowed down the frequency of our runs when they finished cleaning the track. It's a little harder when you have to make every run count because you have a semi-long wait for the next one. The chase continues, there's always next time. |
