I ran a couple low 9.70's last year but I would make 5 bad passes for every 1 good one , my average passes were very high 9's-low 10's , Im just not cut out for slipping clutchs and going straight , I need some dirt , left turns and a wing to do my thing , Im a terrible drag racer and have no consistency what so ever.
Regardless of the mods 9's on Vmax is hard to do and all that have done it should be proud.

Great times Tim no matter who was on it. I had rotator cuff surgery two years ago. Very painful and my shoulder has never been the same. Still having problems with it. Lot of clicking and early fatigue with repetitious use. Good luck

Ya , Im waiting on a surgery date myself , got tearing in both shoulders and severe degeneration in both shoulders , it sucks.
I actually tryed riding the bike but on the first launch it was unbearable pain instanly , I just let off and took it to the trailor and had my buddy make a few passes on it.

We were at Edge water dragway last night and Brock threw a leg over my Vmax and gave it a try , track was super cold and very slick and it was his first time on a Vmax , even at that he ran a 9.93 smoking the tire thru 2nd gear and he weighs in at over 220 suited.

Don't play around with those types of injuries Tim. Wait til it's fixed. There is a pretty long healing time also. 6-8 week. Then a lot of PT. That brocks/ Gurued set up is radical. Like Brett say's "a monkey can get 9's with that set up" Not calling Brock a monkey. Meaning you can do 1.70's and still get 9's with it.

Ya Im not looking forward to the recovery time since its coming into good weather , gonna play hell on my bass tournament schedule.

Brock a monkey....lol no he's a piggy now.
It was fun watching him ride , he is a really good rider even at his weight he pulled some 9.20's on the 14R and hasn't been racing at all in good while , gotta remember he was the 1st ever to run 7 seconds on a true street legal bike , he's a real talented guy , those talents go way beyond selling parts , his tuning skills are amazing he gets every last bit of HP there is out of whatever he is working on , I've learned alot from him lately.

Great times. Thanks for providing. What was the launch RPM?

You right up below describe's my struggles as well. Launching this thing is so hard to do right time after time. I ve for 2 years at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Best time is 10.26 135MPH. Im 6:4 at 230 Suited.

I have tracked every drag Ive done as well as some of the "best times" posted (got to love excel). You are gaining 24 MPH from the 1/8 to 1/4 mile. On my best run ever I had 25.24 MPH. Captain Bob ran a 9.772 @141.48 and gained 27.00 MPH. I think his had the new V2 so Im guessing you have a couple more MPH on tap. Seems like wind resistance and gearing limit this bike to that amount of gain between the 1/8 and 1/4 mile traps. we are also running a high modified R3 Triumph and we gain close to 33 MPH at a final speed of 155 MPH. (et at 9.033) As I look at other drag bike the cont to increase the rate of accelration where as we seem to be slowing down.

Your 60 ft is smoking at low 1.6 also (congrats again).

Season is over here. Dreaming of adding a nitro kit and the electronic quick shift from Dale Walker over the winter.

Keep it up and good luck with the surgery.
