The guy was about 60 and looked to be at least 200lbs.. It was his first run on the new motor.. He told me "it should go 8.20's all motor. I'm not running nitrous tonight, but with nitrous I'll be in the 7's.. I just want to make it down the track one time on the new motor before I put the nitrous on it."
I was like yeah, ok... walked away chuckling never thinking he'd do the 8.20's. He shut everybody at the track up and did exactly what he said he would do B) Bike had to be started on the track, and towed back once the run was complete.. No battery & once you shut it down, no way to restart. Not very practical, but REALLY fast old Kawasaki! Perfect launch & he hit the gears perfect too = 8.23 :)

At 10 over it's almost as good as a Bar on it Sweet , I wanted to go longer then 6 inch but I use the bike way too much as an every day ride to do that
Hey now !! it's only 65 and 1/2 inch wheel base .. The Vmax is longer ... :) The arm is 10 over but i don't have it set all the way back ..

Lee deserve alot of credit for running an 8.50et on this bike you need to remember this is a bone stone engine on pump gas "Quick and cheap bolt on parts only". He's riding the hell out of it , 10" over or not it's not an easy task , takes a huge amount of skill. Can anyone put a 10"arm on a stock Busa and run 8.50? Hell can ya run 8.50 on a modified Busa??

Nice job Lee.

I saw that run Kyle (you won fair & square) ;) Even with Lee's stretch, a wheelie can still happen. Lee rode it out, but because of the wheelie and the amount of gas in his tank, he ran out in 3rd gear and it shut down. You passed him as he was coasting trying to restart it. He did finally make it back to his trailer for more gas :)
