Very Nice !! My 60 seems to be about the same as my 1/8 th mile time 6.2-6.3 but with a 1 in front of it lol !
I always struggle with my 60 , So that Launchmaster just helps you keep a set RPM at the light so say you set it at 4000
it keeps you from fluctuating from that set RPM yes ? and after you engage the clutch it shuts off ?Yes no
If the track is hooking up good I usually increase my launch RPM can you set it on the fly ?
Just trying to understand the functions and if would help my with my "problem"
I know I could get some good 1/4 miles times if i can launch better.

You need to come down to Florida and do some sea level racing i bet you will be one to be reckoned with
maybe Oct for B Fest in Daytona.

Yes it holds the set rpm. On that pass I launched at 6000 rpm. When the second bulb comes on I go wide open then launch on the third bulb. It shuts off just before the clutch is fully engaged but that is adjustable to. You cannont adjust it on the fly but it only takes seconds to change your setting depending on where you have it mounted.

Our next race is a month away so I should have the coils, Brocks and a Shinko 003 ultra soft. I hope to get mid 1.50's and high to mid 6.40's by the end of the season.

Last weekend we had street legals on Friday and raced on Sat and Sun. Both Maxout and I were beat by a slower ZX-12 because of red lights. Maxout lost to the ZX-12 in the final round but ran his best 60 ft. a 1.66. I think it was only his second time to the strip since getting the Brocks and the reflash. The guy on the ZX-12 is called Ninja Charlie and has a few Kaws he drag races. He has well over 20 years racing and is one of the nicest guys you will meet and help you with any advice he can give.

I raced on Sat and Sun but did not improve any of my personal bests except for

Is this heads up or bracket racing?

Its bracket racing but I had the quickest bike on Sunday but thats rare. Sometimes I'm up against all out drag bikes. I'm pretty happy with the results, I raced a couple of times last year but this year I bought a membership and I am racing for points. Bikes and sleds do not have a payout at our track

Good job, I am going to start bracket racing mine also for the last 4-5 races I can make this season. I craked an intake valve on my race car last weekend and it will be a while for the heads to be fitted with the upgraded Titanium valves so I'm done for the season with the car. Funny thing is I would normally be bummed about it but I am almost happy to try something different for a while. We do have payout in the Open Air class here but the class is usually only about 4-5 bikes and 1-2 sleds depending so winner money isn't much. 3 out of the 5 bikes are all low 9 sec bikes so they will have to catch me without breaking out the others are mid 10 bikes.
