Re: Fastest V-Max in Texas 3 years 1 month ago #31

How about a Red River "VMAX" Rivalry/Shootout? Let the Okie's show them Texan's how to run the VMAX down the quarter mile.

Rain tomorrow maybe, so it's looking like it's gonna be next weekend before I go back to Pine Valley Raceway. I'm pumped up and ready for low 10's or high 9's. I'll spend the next week practicing the launchs.

The VMax is really making it's mark lately, and it's only a matter of time before more bikes are sold and move into the drag strips.
next weekend is King of the Track motorcycle race at Dallas Raceway, come on up

That would be fun to get out and see some fast A$$ bike's roll down the track.. :woohoo:

I may come out and make a pass or two. And maybe some pointers from you guys to try and lower my times ;) My buddy's trying to get a 9.7 or 9.6 on his GSXR 1K..He may come out with me..
come on out Qtip, I'll try and watch as many times as I can, maybe I can see something that will get you closer to the 9

wee

Sounds good Wee!!

What other fast bikes are you running with? And what kind of times are you looking to run?
my 14 runs 9.0's, so what other bikes get in the 9.0 index is who I will be running.

wee

The index? Is it to keep the bikes that run around the same time? Or is king of the track the one that runs the best time of the night?

bikes that enter the 9.0 index cant run any faster than a 9.0, heads up racing in that class.

So, just pick a # like a 10.50 and try to keep around that # the rest of the night?
