I'm your age. BUT I learned how to read. So when I read something that says someone was NOT suggesting I lied my next post would NOT be "what am I lying about?" and then "why would I lie?" Because that would make me look dumb.

SDPEARLY I had spray on my 70 nova back in 79 .. N20 is nothing new , it has been used since WW2 in German aircraft .. I also raced Greenvalley back in the late 70s and early 80s on my CBX and my Boss 429 Mustang ..I'm 53 years old and i think wee is 52 ... I can't recall if we ever met back in those days but we did street race in the same places in North Dallas..I'm sure Wee will remember a friends car that raced at the Valley " The Big D Hooker " 1970 Vega with a big block chevy with a tunnel ram on spray ..

As far as cars it was my Green Boss 429 car with a straight axle .. Kind of hard to miss that one if you ever saw it .. lol I raced my Nova called White Line Fever ..My red 63 imp with a 409 four speed ... I also raced my 70 monte SS with a 454 ..I did go to Greenvalley alot but most times i race at seven points 1/8 mile track or street raced ..I lived there till 1981 before moving to FL.
As far as bikes i raced my 79 CBX , my GS1000 and i had two GS1100 i raced .. I had one sleeper, a 78 GS750 with a big bore kit , ported head .. I got my 85 Vmax here in FL when they first came out .. While it didn't run as fast as some of my CBXs did it ran very will for a stock bike .. My best was a 10.92 on the Vmax ..

I lived in Corsicana TX 60 miles south of Dallas on 45 ... I moved to North Dallas in 1980 and lived one block off loop 12 ..I worked at Sewel Village Caddy right off loop 12 down by love field..

Lucky14 says he's got lots of old video of bikes at GV 1977-78-79, maybe we're in them? I was wrapped up in bikes, cars didnt do it for me.

I have no pictures from the Valley, 77 I raced a black 77 Goldwing 12.20@109 wow thats slow, 78 had a 78 XS11 11.86@114, hard to remember that far back, I can remember 2 LTD 1000's that were pretty fast streetbikes, and Sid Pogue's Z1r, Eperjesi's Kamakazi

Ahhh, the Z1R, the original ZRX! Check this piece of motorcycle history out on ebay.

I remember those well. One of the first really bad azz bikes on the street. That same seller has a showroom condition 97 convertible Jag up for bid too. It is also @ $200.00 right now.
