This event that was run by the Texas Motorcycle Drag Racing Association was a big farce. What a joke. The racers had to pay twice as much as the spectators (all 20 of them) The metrics couldn't run against the Harleys. If you didn't fit into a class they would make one for you. There were some classes of one. They promised a $500 purse in a shootout race for winners of their class but then only gave $40. I'll never get involved in one of their events again! Live and Learn.

Well Ken we kinda figured they wouldn't let there beloved hogs get smoked, and besides it is sturgis. After the rally is over maybe they will have some real drags.

What did you expect? No way was there going to be a Harley massacre at the Sturgis corral. It would be just down right mean to slaughter Harley's on the Dyno in front of all those fans. Talk about a real downer? A VMax on a dyno pumping out all that horsepower....what and then expect some Harley to just toss his money away to climb on the dyno behind you?

It's bad business sense. After a VMax the Harley riders would swear that their exhuast was making a sound like......Vespa, Vespa, Vespa, vespa, Vespa, vespa.......

Kinda depressing...to be honest.

YEAH we took a MAX to the DYNO SHOOTOUT at the HARLEY dealer and entered the OPEN class and the said any bikes could enter and the winner would get a TROPHY and CASH but when we won they refused to give us the winnings typical HD CRAP

Thats because your trying to run a F-16 to a John Deer Tractor. Oh yeah you know what the difference between a Harley and a John Deer Tractor is?...............The John Deer is still running! lol
