Not sure if you have to do any mods to the throttle housing with that one, But there is one available called *Cruise Control* that simply clamps on to the bars and has a thumb clamp around the throttle. It is advertised here in Australia thru Donald Motorcycle Imports. It is just a bolt on and use type of design.

Pokey.

This would work great if we had a tapped hole for it to thread into. Somewhere there was a thread on the forum about this.

Those look like they are designed to work on the Harley switch gear housings, so I don't think it would work on our Maxes. I have been looking at these www.throttlemeister.com/app/inventoryapp...view/88-0-375-1.html

They are a bit pricey, but they look very nice, and seem to have good reviews. Let us know what you find, as I am still looking myself.

I was hoping for one of these: The BrakeAway Motorcycle Cruise Control

I inquired about the 2009-10 VMax and got this response....
Good morning. I'm sorry to say that the V-Max 09 and newer have radial brakes and the brake pivot nut is too far way for our Cruise Control to reach. The brake lever change is another reason that the V-Max 09 and newer is not compatible with the Cruise Control. I hope that helps to answer your question. Sorry for any inconvenience. Have a great day!

I have used the kind that Pokey posted above. Had one installed on my 2005 VStar 1100 Custom and I loved it.

I'm not 100% sure on the handlebar diameter though so this might not be the exact one for the Max.

I am thinking strongly about getting one for my Max but I think it would take just some slight modifications maybe to get it to work correctly. Maybe not.

I have the Throttle meister and its the ticket naturally they offer it in black now but had one on My Bemmer too I have the heavy size one it takes pretty much all the Vibration out of the handlebars and is all machined stainless and brass I have to shake out a beat up hand after about 15 min or it goes sleepy time expensive but worth it and it screws in the factory barends.I also use a cramp buster too.
