I have been looking for a Portable Air Compressor to run some of my new tools. So I went on www.aircompressorsdirect.com and bought a Speedway 8-Gallon Portable Air Compressor. It meet all the CFM requirements for the tools I intend to us and it was the right price, plus free shipping.

It took a week to get it, and when it showed up at my door the box was a mess. When I opened it I new right away I was going to have an issue. They used old plastic bags and pieces of Styrofoam to pack it. After i took everything out of the box it was missing any instructions, the nuts and bolts to mount the wheels and handle. Also missing was the air hose that was supposed to be included. And the plastic hosing / cover was broken.

So I called Air compressors direct and they said no problem, we will send FedEx to pick it up and they will refund my money, all is good. That was on a Friday, they told me that on Wednesday the following week is when it will be picked up, fine. Wednesday comes and goes, no FedEx. I call them on Thursday and they tell me to hold on a few minutes they have to find out what the deal is. When they come back on the phone they tell me the return shipping cost to much and to keep it and throw it out, if I want? They still will refund all my money no problem.

Now I have a free compressor, not sure if it works yet, but hopefully it is not damaged beyond repair?

I don't know how these companies stay in business working like this?

Thats how i got my Fuzebox Johhnie out in Hawaii got two somehow and tried to send it back and they said
