TOPIC: Queen's day in Holland & riding (finally!)

Queen's day in Holland & riding (finally!) 1 year 2 weeks ago #1

On Feb 1st I had another shoulder operation. Today John & I had the day off. It's Queen's Day. Our Queen celebrates her birthday. The weather today was great (contrary to massive rain the last few weeks).
And on this national holiday we decided to have a great ride through towns & villages. It was one of the first I rode in more than 3 months! The shoulder gives me no problems, but I want to slowly increase the number of miles.

Therefore we were home early and decided to join the Royal festivities in our own small village. Such a party/event you can find in almost any town in the Netherlands on April, 30.

Just to give you an impression...

I'm glad to see you back in the saddle Friede. Be careful with that shoulder while you build up strength.

On july 20th we leave for our motor holiday to Italy.
So by then I have to be sure I am up for the task. I would rather know in a couple of weeks I cannot do it.
Hopefully we won't have to cancel again.

Great to hear that your shoulder is better! A ride to Italy sounds great. One day i would like to book one of those Elderwiss(spelling?) motorcycle tours of Europe. Maybe when i'm retired.
