I also wear wide width and found that Gaerne seems to run wider than most. Especially their motocross boots.
I bought a shoe stretcher of the type that has a split down the middle and a long bolt that you turn to spread them open inside the shoe. Then, use alcohol in a spray bottle to SOAK the shoes where you will be stretching them and gently stretch them. The reason for using alcohol is that it stains less than water and most importantly, evaporates much quicker. I stretched out a nice pair of Alpinestar boots this way and they fit great now. I did stretch them in about 3 different sessions instead of all at once. Having wide feet, I have done this on a haf dozen pair of shooes and not broken any stitching or torn any leather so far. Good luck. Mike |

Two sisters arrived home from school crying their eyes out.
“What’s the matter with the two of you?” asked their mother. “All the kids at school always make fun of my big feet,” wailed the first sister. “Don’t let it bother you,” comforted the mother, “Your feet aren’t that big.” She then turned her attention to the second sister. “Now why are you crying?” “My friends invited me to go skiing and I can’t find my skis,” she cried. “That’s not a problem,” the mother said, “You can borrow your sister’s shoes.” |

Good luck. Mike I have used this procedure before and its works just as Mike states. Even used it on some leather gloves that were too tight. I have a pair of Chippewa Boots and they are real wide, and comfortable to walk in. I am on my second pair, the first one's lasted 8 years! |

I think I need to get a pair of these. No stretching required!!! Mike |
