I'll start by saying I recently had my F-150 "tuned". It now makes roughly 430 HP and 525 Lbs of TQ with a fairly mild 93 octane performance tune.

Coming home from work today some hot shot in his new Audi TT RS was about a foot from my bumper while I drove with traffic in the fast lane. He made 3 moves into the left shoulder to see what was holding me up....which was the car in front of me. This went on for about a mile, very distracting to me, there was a line of cars in the right lane so there was no where for me to go. Eventually we all passed the line of cars on the right and the right lane opened up for a 1/4 mile or so ahead. I jumped in the right lane and floored it, the Audi followed....although my rate of acceleration obviously caught him by surprise because he didn't catch me until I ran up against traffic again where at that point he was going so fast he almost ran into the back of me. I kept at the speed limit so that he could come around me and see the big VMax type grin I had on my face. He pulled up next to me and glared my way, while I was .

I then moved over to the fast lane behind him and he was in the same spot I was earlier....again the right lane opened up, he went, I followed and we had quite a go! He got the jump and was pulling me slightly but not much maybe a car or 2 up to xxx mph, didn't come close to shaking me.

He's not happy now, he's looking at me in his rear view mirror, I'm doing this ....he's doing this . Again......the same scenario repeats.....same result. I can't wipe the smile off my face now, this is as much fun as riding my VMax!!

Soooo, I've pretty much had enough fun for the ride home, but he's up against traffic in the left lane and I'm in the right and get up next to him to give him a friendly . He won't even look at me now, and his knuckles look kinda white on the steering wheel. The car in front of him signals and pulls in front of me and now he has nothing but open road in front of him. I'm totally blocked and can't follow so I just watch him go....and boy does he go......

There was only one problem (for him) and that was he didn't see the NY State Trooper that was sitting on the median ahead. Well, he saw him eventually .....but I'm pretty sure he was doing twice the legal limit of 65 before he hit his brakes. OOOPSY!! Like I said a bad day for him......I just hope he's not one of those scumbags who beats his his wife, kids, or pets.

You know, I almost felt bad for him. Everybody slowed down and pulled to the right to let the Cop pass, and he was so far ahead the cop had just finished walking to the Audi when I finally passed. I was thinking "This guy is screwed"! Just then the Van that had me blocked when the Audi took off pulled along side me.....he looked at me and gave me a YIKES! look and then started laughing.

So the Eco boost runs pretty good, I opted for the lariat limited with the 6.2 liter v8 in my 2011 f150 with 411hp stock but still wasn't enough tq. I traded it for a 12 f250 powerstroke 400hp 800 ft lb's, my first diesel and pulls like a freight train. I am a Ford truck guy, love em.
