Next week Wed (3/11/09) is the 2 year anniversary of my son Jacobs tragic motorcycle accident that took his life. He was our only child. And 2 months shy of his 21st birthday. Last year a bunch of his friends and family went on "The First Annual Jake Pearly Memorial Cruise". It was great seeing his friends that I watched growing up from little kids with Jake to the great bunch of grown ups that they have become today. Well, We are having "The Second Annual Jake Pearly Memorial Cruise" next week. Now here is where you come in. I think it would be awesome if sometime this next week when you are out riding if you could just take a second and think about being on the cruise with us. It may seem silly, But I think if people from all over are thinking about it somehow Jake will Know. And I can imagine how great that would feel to have people around the world sending him good vibes. And thats what Im asking you to do. Think good things. I know you dont/didnt know him so its kind of strange to ask you to think about him. Im posting 2 short videos here for you to have something to put visually in your head to help send out. Thank You Very Very Much.

I think of you and jake lots.....your testimony really tweaks my heartstrings.Ive learned alot about myself and my own greif over my dad by talking with you SD.
I didnt know how to reply to this thread but i'd be an a hole not to so there you have it.
I wanted to say that when i was a kid my grandfather(a retired master mechanic)took up vw beetles as a hobby after he left the mines.we had a dune buggy similar to the one in your pics.It was a 67 if i remember and pepere (grandpa) put a 1700 cc super beetle engine in it cut off the running boards,cut the front off just behind the headlights cut the back off about foot or so trimmed back all the fenders and put huge mud flaps on them,made a header 4 into 1 exhaust pipe that pointed up out of the water custom air breather reversed rim mud snow tires.boat rack on top with an adapter for a sluice box.that machine went anywhere and on the rare occasion we did get stuck we could yank it out with a cum a long.good memories man.

I`ll go out just to do a ride for Jake
