The Motus spec sheet tells us this is a motorcycle for experienced riders who want a specifically American—and American-made—compromise between sport and tour.

Hmmmm, 140 estimated horsepower at the crank, probably heavy, definitely expensive, and COMPROMISE written in the description. That "specifically American" phrase reeks of Harley-esque "mystique". It's just a damn shame that we as a country can't produce the most ass kicking motorcycles in the world. At least Yamaha is doing it for us. In this economical environment I would bet that this goes absolutely nowhere, unless they can squeeze another 100 hp out of it.... even then, who would be willing to spend lots of money on a bike made by a company that will probably not be around as long as the warranty.

That's enough pessimism for today.
