TOPIC: Australian Motorcycle Expo. (Pic heavy!)

Australian Motorcycle Expo. (Pic heavy!) 3 months ago #1

I went to the Aus Motorcycle Expo yesterday and took a few photos, thought I'd share.

One of the first things I saw: A carbon Diavel.

Ducati 1198 SP (Very nice!)

Of course, the Vmax was there aswell. I didn't really get any good pics of the Max's for some reason, but basically there were 3. A Standard 2010, a 2010 with touring accessories, and a Max fitted with some styling accessories.

This was neat:

Motley Crew tour bike. The leather work was very nice.

MV Agusta! The F4 1000RR Corsacorta is frickin' beautiful! Oh if only I had the money, but I just bought a Vmax.
Sadly no F3's at the expo.

Check out the front wheel on this guy:

This one makes my arms hurt just looking at it:

This custom chopper had some nice art!

The most pimped out scooter I've ever seen. In Ghost Rider 3, he should ride this.

ZX14:

This bike is from 1901:

Nice Busa art:

Suzuki track bike. Found a mate that I went to both primary school and high school with who was working at the Suzuki station. Pretty cool.

Gremlins!

Moto Guzzi V7 Racer:

More custom work:

A little expo overview:

They also had a freestyle motorcross show!

Thanks a lot for sharing these pics and your comments. I really enjoy it. And yes, I have a soft spot for the MV Agusta as well.

I thought the paint job on the Busa a bit 'over the top' to be frank...

Love the black/white chopper though!

Vmax 2009: give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire!

Re: Australian Motorcycle Expo. (Pic heavy!) 3 months ago #7

Thanks for the pics BBjordo,

I like the bobber and of course the red/black Vmax with extra bits. Gotta love the effort put into some of those other custom bikes as well, some people are so talented with metal and paint.
Although a lot of effort was put in to it, I am with Vmaxbabe on the Busa being a bit over done .

I wonder what the Scooter owner would have a Vmax looking like given a bit of time and effort?

Re: Australian Motorcycle Expo. (Pic heavy!) 3 months ago #8

No worries guys. The Busa art definately isn't for me but I thought it was still very well done.
Heres a few more pics:

Start with a couple of Moto Guzzi's, these looked great in person, the picture is pretty terrible though haha.

I love cafe racers.

The BMW S1000R drew a decent crowd.

And that's all of em.

Impressive R1, again with the exhaust out of the seat. I like that a lot, although it's murder for your luggage haha !
