My charge will be on my permanent record for life.. "Speed/Timed, Posted Zone, Radar 160/45" Feb 1972 on a 1970 Kawasaki H1 w/750kit & expansion chambers. Cop didn't arrest me, but I got the ticket when I ran out of road & had to pull over. When I went to court I had a 70yr old Judge in Ocoee Fl (Judge Tucker). I told him point blank that my bike would not go 160mph. The fastest I could have been going was 145mph. He fined me $100 ($1 for every mile I was over) & $5 court cost & told me not to do it again.

Guess those days are over..

NY State doesn't mess around. I clocked doing 110 mph in a 55 mph zone on my 85 Interceptor, I got nailed with a $250-300 fine (can't remember exactly, being 23 years a go) and lost my license for 1 year (that I DO remember)...that was back in 1989.

It's really hard not going over the speed limit on the beast.... I know, cuz I've tried
and just can't do it.

I got the bike from one of the lead mechanics at R.C. Hill's Kawasaki in Orlando. Not much wear on any of the front end tho..
