Too bad, Casey Stoner is one hell of a racer! A very talented man and the way he is going he will be leaving while still holding the championship title

Sad news but I am sure we may see him at the V8 supercars
We can waive him off at the Philip Island this year - it would be awesome if he won that race! |

Too bad, but it's his decision. He states: 'this sport has changed a lot and it has changed to the point where I am not enjoying it'. I'm very curious as to what he means by this.

Absolutely. He's had an amazing career and there is much more to life than motoGP and I am sure we'll be seeing a lot more of him in a different shape or form. I am glad I got to see him ride live! |

I think the technical advances has over taken the old "rider verses rider competition" to the best bike wins now. The electronic geeks run the show and he must feel like a robot. They need rule changes to get the old excitment back in it as it is getting boring to watch. Put them all on 80`s super bikes, Raw power I think the VMAX is spot on. We don`t need traction controls and all that bullshit. Dragging MAX the way he is. Is about as good as it gets I reckon |
