Finally got around to removing the mufflers this am in the hopes that it would sound "mean". As far as I can tell they do more at keeping the heat contained to the rear. Much to my dissappointment just like a vehicle with cat the muffler is removing most of the throat and rumble. Not going to perform pack removal and wait for time and money to go all in like I did with my Hindle and Furber Exhaust on previous 2 maxes. Just thought I would pass on my Opinion?

A loud Max save lives! Oh, and it sounds kewl too!
VMOA #5431 ;~) Oh women with welders like it with more HEAT! Cycle Shack Exhaust for only $625.00 with Gurued Gear Re-flash = 186 HP.

I've removed my mufflers and cat in preparation of the X-Pipe's arrival on Tuesday! I gave Dr. Max a crank just to hear the raw power of the engine. WOW. The cat really does kill a lot of the sound. I had people coming out of their houses and peering through windows after a few revs. I'm pretty sure that I'll have the sound I'm after when I get the X-Pipe on there! I'll have pics and videos next week!
