I took my Ridgeline down for inspection today and brought my tires down to drop off.(it's a little Local car repair shop , all bikers, even a hottie mechanic) The dude tells me to come back in an hour and he'll mount em up so I'll be ride'n this weekend. Worthy of tip for mount balance and valve stems installed. $40 for both.
ted I'll give the shinko a test ride in the am. I'll have to go easy first being new and all.

YO RANDY, I'm DRAGON READY.....

Oh Man, I'm not sure I like this tire. I'm not sure if it's because I was so used of the old square one but oh man does it feel weird. Almost feels like I'm on a chopper. I'll take your word for it and suppose I will get use to it I think. it does hold a line good, just doesn't have the throw around feel I'm used to. It just doesn't react to me twitching the handle bars, it seems like it's all lean now. :hmmm:

I'll check the pressure too... as long as it hold the ground, I'm good. :brushyourte

Thanks Mike. Mine is going to be installed next Saturday. Are you saying that it dips easier than your old tire?

Either it has no dip or it feels like a chopper that kinda just flops over when you lean. I'm usually a turn left to go right type guy... I musta been ride'n on this old front for too long... I guess I shoulda payed more attention to how it rode before I swapped it out. definetly a big difference, just feels funny.. let me know what you think after you mount it.
once i get the new tire slime all worn down past the chicken strips, i'll put ti to the real test..

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I thought the same thing when I replaced my front tire. I think that the abnormal wear is from road camber. It's noticable when you replace your worn tires with new, rounded ones. I'm only replacing the front. My rear doesn't need replacing yet.

:hmmm: Give it some time Mik D. If you have been running a stock tire all this time it will fell weird I am not sure.. it's the turn in is much faster than the stock tire or any other tire out there.. trust me, it holds!

And I know that you have Track experience too.

I just got out of work and did some dipp'n ... slow dip'n ... tires are still squirly..
hey,Does anyone wash the stuff off of your new tires with like a scotch pad?

Just brain Fart'n
