I know its early, but since I just paid for my reservation, I had to ask….. Any of you planning Sturgis this year? Just wondering how many fellow Gen 2 Maxers will show.

I wish I could go, but we are heading to the Dragon in April for the V Max Gathering.

LOL Your totally wrong. Maybe 10 years ago or longer, but not even close to that way now man. Its a bike fest, party, and if your out of town, lawlessness. Every one I ride with is a die hard hardly guy, the got respect for the beast.

Sturgis 09. I couldn't get down main street last year. People were chasing me down the street wanting to take my picture. Wish I could say it was the max they wanted a picture of.

Everytime I see that photo...I try to see where's the dog intercom...

All bikes are welcome at the Sturgis Rally, although about 80% will be HD. You have to remember that Sturgis Rally has become a Black Hills event. Something is going on in all the towns in the hills. If you want to ride the hills come early or stay late. Plan your trip so you get a couple days of the rally first half or second half of the week.

If you are looking for trouble you can still find it. The 1%ers still come but don't always fly their colors.

There are usually 5-10 motorcycle fatalities each year in the hills during that week in August. Countless injury accidents.

Both gbrown and I live within 20 minutes of Sturgis. George tried to get a group of vmaxes together last year but it ended up pretty much just he and I. We did run into a couple other 09's and a few gen 1's

Yeah! I think the last I saw of you 2009 ralley was your tail light passing long lines of HD's going down Spearfish Canyon. Late to dinner or something like that.
