Just curious as to what other people are using to detail their max with. Also the process by which they do it.

Pressure Washer and S100 products. Have used them for years on many bikes.

What do you guys recommend that can be used on chrome, aluminum (billet aluminum too) stainless steel all in one? What about for plastic? What about for wax; do you guys use turtle wax for a thicker covering? I have some s100 spray wax/detailer; its good but is it as long lasting and offer the same protection as say regular Turtle wax?

I use the great little cleaner who comes in every monday to my bike shop, she absolutely loves my max. She asks me first thing every monday "do you want me to clean your bike today" its great after sunday rides.

Wash down with hose, then sponge off dirt with detergent while still using hose, get the hard to reach places with soft cloth, take bike for a blow dry (you will get wet shins from the radiators) then polish with MR SHEEN!!! Its an all surface spray polish and not sure if you have it in America.
I dont use it on the seat or motor but it works a treat for gleam in the sunlight. |

I use the More Shine , silicone product, similar to your furniture polish, in all the tight hard to get to places. Protects & shines. I use the FW1 with carnuba wax on painted surfaces & shield. Works like Rain-x. 2 items that are easy to use, and don't require water, but go on best after a good hand wash.
