We are tracking down an issue with a new module that is about to go live shortly. Unfortunately it is causing some errors in the personal My Profile page. In order to diagnose the problem we have left the module on. Please ignore these errors for now. We hope to have these problems under control withing the next 24h.

I've got a tiny bug report. I'm having troubles changing my signature line in my profile. About 3 days ago, I changed the signature to read:
09 Vmax
95 Vmax

I got there by selecting the 'My Profile" tab, then 'Update Your Profile' and then on the 'Edit Your Details' page the first tab; 'Forum Settings' has the board signature section. It reads, correctly, the two lines above. However, my posts still have my old signature. I have tried the usual, close the browsers and logging off of the forum. I've even tried more than one PC. My hunch is you'll see the 'old' signature line below:

Sorry about that. We are aware of the issue and are waiting for a fix from the software maker that does the profile software. We should have a fix within the next 2 weeks.

Could that same bug (which is about to be fixed) also be the root cause of the fact I'm not even able to have a signature?

i used the same procedure as Bill described. In the profile page I do have the correct signature. However, none of my posts cary this signature...
Or maybe I'm missing a setting 'enable signature in posts' somewhere?
