welcome back Tim,
it's great to have tuners covering both shores once again... on a side note, we all know gleason's times on your bike... what i would love to know is your best quarter-mile please... don't tell us you only tune and observe, cause we know that's damn near impossible... Thanks in advance for humoring me , boss --Tony |

10.11 seconds. Bob outran me twice in one night. I got the jump on him! I get too excited, miss gears, and hit the rev limiters. In otherwords, I suck. I will stick to tuning in my shop, away from the crowd. I am not use to having too much company when I am at work anyway.

Tim what's your height/weght ?? i remember some pix with you next to your gen2 (eleanor was it??) shortly after taking delivery, and max wasn't looking as portly as usual, big guy.... thought maybe you're in an upper weight class, no?? low 10's isn't all that bad when you are 2 gleasons and then some... after all, we can't all be born jockey-sized... |

Yep. Thats her!
I am almost 2 1/2 Gleason's. 6'5" at 275lbs. If I could get my act together, I could run in the high nines. Back then, I could launch the bike ok, I just had a problem making the shifts at the right place. Now that I can do what I want to do with the ECU, I can hit the shifts better because I moved the rev limiter, but now I am having trouble launching the bike. Always something (to blame). Tim |

Actually we were slower than that, but it was PURE fun! We were there to do some testing of the Vmax's, Tim had a slick & i was running a low profile street tire. Each of us curious to see what our other mods had done for performance.. The real timing of the bikes was left to the pro's (the way it should be), just like setting the bikes up should be done professionally. Tim proved he could do that! The rest is now Vmax history

If it wasn't for us the fast lane would rust... V4'S are music to the seat of my pants... Get your V-Max ECU Re-Flashed to Full Power!

Tim easy fix for you... we already have a programmable shift light, just parallel its output for a relay-coil to trigger an electric shifter problem solved... some would say it's cheating, but screw 'em |
